Suits & Sneakers Gala - Athens, GA
On August 21, 2010, Spine Care & Pain Management physicians and staff joined community leaders at one of Athens' newest premier events for an exciting evening filled with games, dinner, late-night dancing, an auction, and much more. The event, hosted by University of Georgia Men’s Basketball Coach Mark Fox, raised money for the American Cancer Society.
For nearly a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by cancer in every community. Taking what they’ve learned through research, they have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that the American Cancer Society has helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations.
Spine Care & Pain Management is proud to be a major sponsor for this event. “We are honored to support UGA Basketball and the fight against cancer”, said Dan Bryant, Spine Care & Pain Management CFO.
